250gm Tiger Snake
The Tiger Snake is named after the Fish River Valley’s most dangerous reptile. We were sitting outside our old roasting shed tasting this, as yet unnamed, blend when we got a visit from a Tiger Snake. We all beat a hasty retreat inside and decided to name the blend after our lethal visitor. It has since gone on to be one of our most popular coffees.
A Costa Rican coffee forms the base of this blend. It’s a fully washed Arabica from the Tarrazu region which makes for a smooth, sweet coffee. We add a Sumatran Estate coffee for earthy, berry notes and use Kenyan and Ethiopian coffees for brightness and acidity.
